Does Gerrards appointment at Rangers mean it is less or more likely they will pursue previous interest in Vaulks?
After being on the U18 coaching at Liverpool, will they go for players from Liverpool, or if they go for Vaulks, would he turn down the chance to be coached by Gerrard and McAllister?
Nitpicker.
Looking on Twitter when the rumours first materialised, Rangers fans dismissed it saying that the club is skint so if the transfer needed any kind of 6 figure fee there was basically no chance and they would be mainly looking at loans and free transfers.
I know that Gerrards experience as a player speaks for it's self, but his appointment at Rangers is still a big gamble due to his lack of coaching experience and I think Vaulks is level headed enough to let his head rule his heart.

Surely Gerrard has gone there to improve the team.
I'm sure Gerrard has gone to rangers with the promise that there is money to spend so I can see Gerrard aiming higher than vaulks.
he not going to put his reputation on the line if there wasnt certain guarantees in place
he doesn't have to work and no doubt had other offers in the past and would do in the future.
Although I like Vaulks and if he keeps going he will develop into a great player for us, I don’t think he would be right for Rangers. Celtic sign players who have had success in the premier league. Signing league 1 players won’t make them more competitive against Celtic.
Hopefully Gerrard will turn them around and get Rangers winning the title again.
Judging by Vaulks excellent goal again today, I feel Gerrard may have just got a the cheque book out...
Scouse connection and all that.
Every club needs a player who can celebrate a goal like that.
It must add £500k onto his value at least
