Morrocco v Iran
2 Muslim countries. Games involving them tend to be very close. It's a cultural thing I suppose. If Morrocco already won the rights to WC 2026 which they should in my opinion, the sense of euphoria might pervade to the team.
Tough 1 but Iran were impressive in Asia qualifying.
I'd go for the 1st draw of the competition.

The first big tie
Iberian rivals Spain face Ronaldo's European Champions Portugal.
Another cagey affair I think. Spain usually start world cups slowly or badly, they've lost their last 2 opening matches if memory serves me. I'm going for the hat-trick.
Spain 0-1 Portugal.

Spain will still be too strong for Portugal and old Marcy pants will sulk off because they won’t give him a goal or two
