    Sports Direct

Bit random, but I bought a pair of cheap 40% off adidas mouldies for five a side football a few months ago. Fkers have made my big toenails fall off. Its happened before years ago with a lotto pair I k ce owned - think it must be the synthetic materials. That'll teach me, real leather from now on. Anyone else with any horror stories of items purchased in here? C'mon, be honest I know you must have all bought something in here at least once?

    I once bought a giant mug with the s h I t y logo on it
It was so so big and I was so excited the first time I used it
Filled it to the brim with ovaltine a half hour before bedtime
I drank and drank until I could drink no more ..
Satisfied I dropped into a deep sleep..

Alas the mug was far to big and my bladder far too small my rubber sheets came in handy that night I don’t mind telling you

The moral of the story is

Big isn’t always better ( I keep telling my wife)
    And
Don’t buy anything from that fat barsteward no matter how good a deal you think it is

When I go I spend hours in there. It takes that long to sift through the cr*p to find the good value stuff. It's always been this way but it takes longer and longer each time I go, which is once a year.

....oh, and I bought a couple of pairs of Sondico shorts for lounging about the house in. I feel like I am wearing a SOL seat now with the red ones.

Mind you don’t sit too near the fire never mind corned beef legs.. there might be a real danger you go up in flames

I bought a pair of adidas trainers from sports direct. I could run 10 times faster and I jogged regularly on my rough sandpaper covered treadmill for 5 hours every day for 14 years and the trainers still look brand new apart from a few scuff marks on the soles.

Well what the hell else did you think I was going to say?
