Wes Thomas did ok for us in the championship before - he's the type of goal-hanging forward that we lack. I think that he would have scored against Gillingham and Plymouth, given similar chances to those we that missed. If he is fit, he could be worth a go (we couldn't afford his wages/length of contract when SE tried to sign him).

I’ve always liked Wes and thought he would have done well if he stayed with us, maybe he could do well for us again but does Warney think we need him?
He’s 31 but experience is sometimes needed

During the games vs Oxford this season he looked really mobile and athletic for the first 10 mins and looked as though he could be a threat but actually ended up contributing virtually nothing.
    Conference player

But do we have a 10/12 goal a season with us?
If they put the ball in the net (double figures) then why care if they are lazy?
Understandable if we’re talking about a Midfielder or defender

Think he'll be in League 2 next season.

I thought the plan was to buy young, hungry players and avoid older journeymen looking for a last pay day.

You'll always need experience though if you want to get anywhere.
