Now anyone involved with BFC it is about time we started to make some transfer activity. Potentially we can have a very different season than any other (except for some years ago). Most clubs are making strong noises and some have bought fairly .early. I do realise negotiations are complicated and need much toing and froing but come on we have the greatest opportunity to offer some European football as well as having a good manager. Just what is happening I am beginning to think we are keeping the purse clearly shut, if this turns out to be the case then I may very well sell my ST at a knock down price
Probably watching the World Cup?? Lol
I'm on holiday until October.. Hope we have signed somebody by the time I get back.. ..
Seems to me we're letting WBA take the wee wee again. Do we never learn ?
The only reason I will get rid of my season ticket is the introduction of VAR ---so that will be 2019/20.
It will save me around £1000 + in travelling and meals but I shall miss it after 68 seasons going to the Turf through thick and thin.

It is believed Burnley are only looking to make an outlay at £30m maximum so have decided to switch to alternative targets.
The club have identified a different prospective signings for each position are have begun to open dialogue.
I wonder why £30m is our limit?
We made £22m profit last year and paid £5m tax and that didn’t include money from Keane or Gray of around £45m. We possibly spent around £30m of it so must have £35m somewhere ready to go ( but some of that will go as tax.)
However we will have another profit last year and we may still expect offers for several players.
I would have thought £40m not beyond the realms of possibility.
Neither of them are no longer young men and will have no real re-sale value at the end of four year contracts. BFC are never going to chuck £40 million down the pan, it's just not the way we roll.
I am still optimistic that Jay Rod will now force a deal and arrive back at Turf Moor for £18 million.
Don’t hold your breath BT
it’s understood that Rodriguez will not kick up a fuss and ask to leave.
The Independent are reporting that he is reluctant because he wants to show some respect to the the club who stuck by him during accusations of racist abuse aimed at Brighton defender Gaetan Bong this season.
He does hope that an agreement can be found to allow him to return to the north-west, though.
Palace circling.
