    Perspective

We all like a good moan at the moment at what is happening at our Club myself included. When I read the attached article about a young Blade it reminds me that there are more important things in life than football. I have a lad aged 23 so it hits home a bit more when you realise someone of a similar age may only have a few weeks of his life left.

I genuinely hope he survives for much longer and is able to spend more time with his intended. I don't know the lad but he is part of the Blades family and 22 is far too young an age to leave this world. Once a Blade always a Blade.

Well said Longy,it really does show that some have real problems in their lives. In my village a 17year old passed away recently after havin 7(SEVEN) cardiac arrests. My youngest used to play wi his older brother in't village youth side and his dad was our paper lad back in't day.I also hope JOSH the BLADE pulls through,ALL BLADES AREN'T WE? It's heartbreaking reading stuff like this and it happens everyday life and nature are cruel at times I feel for the pair of them and their family and friends there's no happy ending to stories like this unfortunately

As for perspective I don't need to read stuff like this I see it everyday football is just a game to me these days it won't kill me or my family so it isn't a danger I enjoy the good times and endure the bad but in the big scheme of things sufc are down the list, they didn't used to be I think responsibility dictates where you put them in your list
