Anyone going on the Turf today..?

Me and the lad are going down to have a nosey and see what our second string are all about.

It will be great seeing Robbie Brady back in action.

I just can't justify coming down today, Thursday and Sunday next week with fuel alone amounting to just over £35 per journey so it will be Thursday for the Aberdeen game for me.

We’re going providing it’s on a lot of water coming down , I’m presuming won’t want to ruin pitch for Thursday.

Not a big crowd I hear.
Lindegaard saved for Thursday Trialist playing rather than the youngster who will be on the bench if Tom isn’t fit.
    No Mee either?

Legzdins, Bardsley, Dunne, Long, Taylor, Brady, Hendrick, O'Neill, Walters, Vokes, Barnes.

Subs; Trialist, Tarkowski, Cork, Lennon, Wood, Gudmundsson, Ward, Lowton, Westwood, Wells, Agyei, McNeil, Koiki, Goodridge.

Brady off injured after 42 minutes. People saying it looks like a hamstring but nothing definite yet. Brady looked really fed up accprding to a mate of mine. Real shame whatever it is.

Sounds like a game we didn’t bother about much, though they played their first team, so 0-0 is perhaps not a bad result. We had the better chances I believe, but to lose another returning to fitness is a bit of a disaster. Shame for Brady. Hope it’s not serious!!

The three grades of hamstring injury are:
grade 1 – a mild muscle pull or strain
    grade 2 – a partial muscle tear
    grade 3 – a complete muscle tear

The length of time it takes to recover from a hamstring strain or tear depends on how severe the injury is.
A minor muscle pull or strain (grade 1) may take a few days to heal, whereas it could take weeks or months to recover from a muscle tear (grade 2 or 3).

A decent work out against a technically efficient team. On this performance Wells and Walters need chucking in the back of a Terrier Taxi and sending to pastures new.

O'Neill and Dunne look like they could make it into the first team squad at sometime relatively soon and Goodridge who I have never seen before, looks a lot better than useful.

Taylor, Bardsley, Hendrick Long, Barnes and Vokes we know all about and I was gutted for Robbie Brady who looked to me like he pulled up with a knacked hamstring.

Good to see that we can put a Championship quality side on the pitch as a full second eleven.
