Now they've new owners they may be more willing to agree to a loan. He is a huge risk in view of his injury record and hasn't featured in Villa's pre season games so would take time to get up to speed. Would much prefer a player who can come in and hit the ground running.

mmm interesting we know chris rates him and he hasnt even made villas 18 in their first 2 games suppose it will be down to wages again if villa would pay half his salary i think he could be within our range

I agree Hogan and McGoldrick are both injury prone. He was excellent for Brentford but has never got going at Villa due to stop start injuries. We don’t have the strength in depth for this kind of risk. Originally Posted by Longshortandtall
