    Ex Derby Manager P45 Race

Rowett Clement or McLaren, propping up the championship, which chairman is going to blink first? Just asking....

I’m guessing DCFCA has a bet on already, maybe he’ll share

Dispensation will always be given to Nigel for having zero funds to invest. Burton's record signing is less than Rooneys weekly wage.

Reading played well against us and by all accounts at forest and threw away a two goal lead last night so in think they will persevere with Clement for a bit.

Stoke are taking more time than many expected to adjust to life in the championship but ought to have enough to keep GR in a job for now.

That leaves Schtevie.... beware the reaper.!!

I'd back any other side in the division to beat them at the moment.

Longer term Rowett I'm sure only has one task on his job spec so he too could face the axe if and when promotion hopes fade away.

I watched Villa v Brentford last night, what a contrast that was by comparison to our game on Tuesday. Both sides bang at it and plenty of quality on show. Ollie Watkins who I was desperate for us to sign from Exeter gets better every time I see him and Maupay ran the line brilliantly. The lad Villa signed from Hibs for less than 3m is a class act and then you've got Grealish, Kodjia and Whelan with Bolasie to come. Even at this early stage I will be both surprised and amazed if we finish above either of them.

They look like getting Abraham's as well Personally I'm just hoping we stop in this division this again Because from what I've witnessed in not even sure about that Watched the Norwich v Preston match and certainly not convinced we will even give Preston a game they are very good Ignore last night's score they battered Norwich

Almost certainly SM. Needs to avoid defeat to Wigan on Saturday at the very least and then Brum away next week. I don't think he stays if they don't win either one. He might get the sack if they lose on Saturday.

We should stay in the division based on the fact that there are a handful of sides worse than us...i think

I would expect us to finish above QPR, Reading, Blackburn, Bolton, Rotherham, Birmingham, Ipswich.

There are then another batch off sides Preston, both Sheff clubs, Norwich, Millwall, Bristol City, Wigan and Hull that could fall either side of us.

The rest will be competing.... I think

    Early days, early predictions.

Where's the bold prediction of finishing ahead of Forest?

For the fact I think you will finish ahead of us, although I do hope to be wrong in this regard.

Given Forest not mentioned they are grouped with 'the rest' so I'm expecting you to finish above us....

Ooooo that's a tough one, it means we have to finish 5th. I think you might just about reach the play-offs or narrowly miss out.
Even if Lampard fails, I'm sure you'll get a good replacement in time to resuscitate your season. Watford changed like 3 managers and still went up.
Don't be surprised to see Warnock at PP. I doubt he'll last long in the Prem and should be available in December. I know his football is dire but it's effective and I think that's what you need.
For that matter Warnock might become our manager too. Karanka is in a lot of trouble. He's given himself a huge task. The jury is still out if he will succeed.
But it'll be great for both clubs if our respective managers are still in place come May.
