Birmingham at Home Wednesday 19 September

Why haven't we moved this fixture to the day before, our normal mid week day of Tuesday? Preston who we play at Home on the Saturday 22 September play on the Tuesday night so have the benefit of a days extra rest. Pigs are away on the same night so no clash there. Brum's game prior to the 19 September is on Friday 14 September so again no reason to change from our usual Tuesday night. Doesn't seem right having to play on pig day with all the disadvantages.

It’s going to be like it all season mate. The EFL have split the Championship midweek games between Tuesday and Wednesday so Sky can even out the load on the Red button games.

Sad if true that we have to experience playing on Pig Day just so that part time fans who don't turn up can watch it on the telly.

That is very wrong. Unacceptable disadvantages will result from it, and points will be lost because of it.

Derby and Middlesbrough home games also moved to Wednesday, here’s a bit more about it.
