Rafa on why Kenedy wasn't in the squad yesterday:
"It's a technical decision. I think the other players were training well and I wanted to give them a chance."
Is it reading between the lines too much to say there's a problem? For me, the implication is that whilst the other players were training well, he wasn't?

Rafa has been talking about terminating the loan as well, allowing us to bring in another domestic loan.
Had a soft spot for Kenedy. But I'd toss him back in the water. Can't see that he is motivated here.
I think he's one that can only really flourish when near the 'big smoke'. West Ham (or similar) bound, IMO. A fantastic player to watch on his day but would need to work on his attitude and motivation to be a top player.
He was fantastic when he first came. Even though he had a bit of a reputation as someone who had a bit of a bad attitude, it seemed that he had left that in London. Now with Rafa saying other players were picked because they trained well (the inference I took being that he hadn't) and with what we're seeing on the pitch, it does seem like his motivation has waned somewhat.
Mind, if he pulls his finger out, he can still be a big player for us in the second half of the season.
He's probably as plssed off as the rest of us . An attacking player defending for long periods ,in a team with 30% possession game after game.
maybe he expected investment , different style of footie .. Can't be much enjoyment playing the way we are set up 90% of the time... Where paramount is not concede many incase it comes down to goal difference at the end of the season.
