Can't understand why Jones, Palmer etc are not getting game time.

    Is the level that bad?

L 1-3 ... Poor second half from the Millers after a goodish first half . None of the first team squad bench played to
day . Lewthwaite looks fit and scored but not good enough for first team bench??? Doesn't make sense to me

Facilities for fans at the reserves games at Roundwood "Lower Pitch" are poor by any standards, and only a handful of fans there today, in fact there were probably as many Mansfield fans as Millers. If you are a supporter you are standing in mud, along the touchline at pitch level , looking into the sun and today, with a freezing gusty wind blowing straight into your face, No seats, or terracing, or cover. If fans were allowed to stand on the banking behind the dugouts, or even on the changing room steps/balcony, it would be something better, but that's not allowed. Difficult to believe that any league club has worse facilities for supporters for reserves games.

Team selection for today was basically the youth team, minus a few of the youth regulars, playing against a proper reserve team.... and , guess what, it lost. How does that help the players' development? Warney keeps saying that the first team players who are returning from injury need more reserve game time, but when the opportunity comes up, they never play. I don't get it!
