One thing we haven’t heard this window is a player making it known that he wants away in public. We haven’t had a Winnall situation, or a situation whereby a larger club has “turned a head” Possibky a Brentford “Line cast” for Pinnock, but nothing substantial.
This either shows that other people don’t regard our players as being able to step up, or we have stood firm.

I’d like to think that we have had offers, and stood firm, and also that the players we have have not pushed for moves
as they think that as a unit they can progress to The Championship together. I hope this is the case too.

Moncur was always going to be unhappy out of the first team picture, and the guy has obvious skill, his father has been involved in the past and no doubt would have been pushing him to go elsewhere, Isgrove wasn’t happy as he (even before he came back to us) wasn’t getting near a first team start, a crucial time for his career as he ( unlike Moncur, hasn’t a reputation) . So I guess we lost the two fringe players that Stendel described at the beginning of the week.

I’m very happy this morning we kept Cavare, Pinnock, Lindsay and even though we only recently signed Woodrow I’m happy that a cheeky “Double your money” offer from a Championship side didn’t come in (it wouldn’t have surprised me if that had happened)

Happy this morning. But would have liked a Goalkeeper to Challenge/Cover. Any injury and we are reliant on inexperience in this area more than any other.
