o/t which party will fold first..

    Labour or Conservative?

Conservatives for me by a neck but both parties will soon be defunct.

    2 years tops.

Yes but will the "new" parties be made up of the same old politicians like the new TIG one?

Dream on. The one issue all politicians agree on is self preservation.

Have you bet your tent on that prediction? I'm assuming that you are now living in a tent as you said you'd put your house on the results of the last two referenda in Britain -and got both wrong!
I won't even bother with the details of the horse-racing tips.... or was all that somebody else

Neither of the two major party's will fold , certainly they both have major problems at the moment but both have proved capable of reinventing themselves over the years .

Thatcher routed Labour in the 80's and Blair routed the tories in the 90's .

You could have made a case for either of them not seeing power ever again but they bounced backed .

Out of the two Labour are probably more vulnerable but the tories would never be allowed to fold , far too much money and self interest invested in them by powerful people for that ever to happen .

TIG is hitting the level of Labour support hard, presumably because it provides a home for the moderate Left who, let's face it, are no longer welcome in the Labour Party itself. That being said, so did the SDP in the 80s and look what happened to them.

The Tories are tired and lacking in imagination and need some new blood at the top. I'm not sure whether they are ready to address that, however.

Nothing much will change. The essentially two party system is too ingrained in the national psyche.

The Tories are just another bunch of Blairites now and stand for nothing, all they care about is staying in power.

At least Labour stand for something even though it is outdated and discredited.
