    Underdog Mentality?

Is it fair to say that we seem to perform better against the teams who are expected to beat us, then capitulate against teams that are lower down?

If we sort this out, we have a chance.

I think we need to go in to the games against teams around us with the same mentality as Lincoln, Mansfield, Carlisle etc...

Let's think.....Morecambe are above us and on a decent run now, we won't beat them.......then....TADAAAAAAAAA!

    What a weird season!!

    Sill drunk so soz.

    It seems so!

Morecambe are on a great run. We've got no chance!

It's fair, but I think it's more to do with the way that teams play than a mentality thing.

Teams at the top, generally speaking, tend to play more open, leave more space in behind, be less reliant on winning second balls and long balls into the box etc. That suits the players we have far more than, for example, the way Port Vale and Cheltenham played against us recently.

Yeah, we seem to do better against teams who like to play it on the floor, and particularly on bigger pitches. The game last night reminded me a bit of the MKD away match, the way we moved the ball around. I know we lost that one, but we probably would have won if it wasn't for that bizarre red card / penalty decision that turned the game.

I felt the team played much better without Stead. No reflection on Stead himself but the football was more effective (won) and constructive. Duffy too, seemed much better.
