If the Old Firm win their next three games...

we can put Rangers out of their misery at Fir Park next Sunday. Which would be nice.

Would be nice and even more so to get our first league win over a Rangers side since 2002 (albeit that was their previous 'version') but it won't happen next week sadly. I've seen this movie too many times over the last 17 years to know not to expect us to win this game. How many times in that time have we been in good form going into a game against them whilst they were on a poor run and there is an air of expectancy for us to beat them and it never happens. Our few and far between victories over Rangers sides have always been when it is least expected and they are going into it with their usual smugness and entitlement.

The best result we'll get next Sunday will be a draw, but I anticipate a narrow defeat.

Don't count your chickens. Its the SFA disciplinary process we're talking about here.

Halliday will presumably be back for us after being banned against Hearts?

There's no counting of chickens from me either but even the SFA won't be able to avoid banning Kent. Rangers are a much weaker side without him and Morelos - the chance to beat them is definitely there.

They've got Defoe and Lafferty come in, the latter always finds a way to score against us. I'd love to see us finally beat them in a league game but these games always give me a bad feeling as we never win them and we almost always end up frustrated as every possible break goes their way.

I just can't see Sunday being any different.

Probably not. As we've said before, even a weakened or off form Old Firm side will still beat us more often than not, they're simply better players.

I have a sneaky feeling we'll get a point mind.

Will take a great performance, but let's see what occurs?
