Not next but after a promising start against all odds, with the bad run they are on I fear for Accrington if they lose to Sunderland tomorrow.

Brin - how about a cheeky bet on Luton going down to raise some charity money

    Bradford perhaps?

Regarding Fulham, relegation after spending more than £100 million on the transfer market must be some kind of record.

The logical choice is Ipswich. Within the next 14 days hopefully. League 1 is crazy this season, anyone from 12th downwards is still in the relegation mix with just a few points between them all. I'm surprised to see Bradford propping up the table. They had two or three seasons where they looked like they were making steady progress and were promotion candidates. Even this season, after a slow start, they began battering teams by 4 and 5 goals but find themselves facing relegation again 😱

Grist, I'm pretty sure you're right and it is a record for English football. Cardiff (in their red shirt season), QPR, Birmingham and Villa have all spent big only to be relegated but nothing to match Fulham. This is why TS's policy of keeping the money in the bank and spicing things up with the odd "ghost" signing - nearly but not quite - is so sensible.

You have to spend the money on the right players though, neither Fulham or Ipswich did that.

The club doesn't generate enough money to be competitive , they command gates of 16k plus but the season tickets are cheaper than a bag of chips .

The owner is a numbnut who has interfered with team selection and fallen out with every coach he's hired .

By far the worst team seen at Oakwell this season , absolutely shocking they were .

Definitely heading for league two .
