    Taking Icky off

Why oh why does Warne sacrifice a central defender to move a central midfielder (Ajayi) into defence to introduct a striker/winger? He has done this a few times now and I just don't get it.

Don't get me wrong I think that Ajayi is a capable player at centre half but at the moment the best and most on form defender we have Icky.

I think it so he keeps the option to move semi upfront for the final few moments.

But agree why change the back four and midfield with the substitution.

Warney has his reason/s and to him its the right thing to do, anyone else will disagree with him but that makes no difference to someone who things he’s right.

Imo it would have been better to have took Ajayi off.

Not sure why Wiles was fetched on in that game either

Wiles was to replace the energy lost when Towell went off.
