If we win today and edge closer to safety then we might see things progress.

Mind, the simple fact we're even at the stage of Rafa having to say that he's waiting to hear back from the club just shows what a bunch of absolute fucking morons they are.

Aye, Shearer never even had the common courtesy of a reply from our ignorant owner. He's not known for his good manners.

I do wonder what MA is thinking regarding this situation. He can get a new manager much cheaper, but he can't get the same quality. Even as a pure business decision, handing Rafa a new contract would be the logical thing to do.

I honestly think there will be a large fans revolt if Rafa goes, and if there isn“t, I fear for the future of the club.

A new manager would demand money spent on the squad. And if he was of poorer quality than Rafa then he would need more wedge just to get us to where we are now.
Rafas wages are cheaper than buying players.

Even if we got a manager to come and work for free I think it would make more economic sense to keep Rafa .
You get more bang for your buck!

Ashley likes to treat top managers and big names like ****e .I think it's too belittle them as they are well respected names.

It's the classic picked on at school by the "cool" kids type syndrome.

I don't even think it would be top/big names - it's anybody that is respected more than him.

That would be 99.99% of people in the world, then.
