    Lawrence penalty being looked at....

I see that Leeds fans are shouting for the matter to be looked at and for Lawrence to be banned for the two matches!

I’ve looked again and genuinely believe he was caught..... very very lightly but there was the slightest of contact!

Let’s hope there is nothing in this as he appeared to have a good match!

Hang on...the title suggests the decision is being ‘looked at’...then you say Leeds fans are a ‘shouting for the the matter to be looked at’.

Big difference between the two...unless you work for the DT.

Agree with you about Lawrence being ‘caught’.

Nothing to look at, the ref was bang on. The defender caught his foot and the pace he was running at was always going down. Just because Leeds have a cheat who went down as though he'd been punched by Tyson doesn't mean we have to get a player banned!

They are looking at it apparently but I don't think they will take action against him.

Agree with MoP and MA...credit too to James Shan at WBA who has kept right out of it.
Much better attitude than Pulis at ‘Boro and the Leeds whingers...those two clubs really don’t like us do they?

I have just spent 20 minutes trawling the net to find stuff on this "possible ban".

The substance of it seems to be this.

    1. A few Baggies fans have complained about it being a dive

    2. Many DYS fans have also done so

    3. Sky Sports and other outlets have picked up on the chatter and reported that he might face charges after the FA has read the ref's match report. That would normally be on the Monday but due to the Bank Holiday that will be today

Neither the EFL nor the FA appear to have commented on this yet.

ALL referee's reports are read. No difference in this case.

The referee has said nothing to indicate any issue with the incident.

It is my considered opinion that this is no more than a storm in a teacup created by DYS fans that scurrilous news outlets have picked up on.

Move along, nothing to see here.

I think this video, shot from the South Stand, destroys any idea of a ban. Look 1:12 into the vid.
