    St Mirren 24h on

All the huffing and puffing expended on Saturday afternoon was eventually reduced to two fine strikes. David Turnbull's opener was cancelled by Kyle Magennis in the dying seconds and the honours were shared. - External Link

We were playing balls into the box in the second half that were screaming out for a natural centreforward to get on the end of, we had three such players on the bench and never used any of them . Don’t think that was just down to the manager giving Youth it’s chance,IMO it states that Main, Johnson and Sammon will not be at the club next season otherwise not use them .

The game time will benefit Scott who is playing in a hard role, that of a lone striker, just now. Much more experienced Well players than Scott have all pretty much failed in that role. He needs more experience and is a bit raw. Yes, it does send out a clear signal that the more experienced strikers will be on their way soon. We'll certainly need new strikers for the 2019-20 campaign.
