Why are we Reportedly Allowing Joe Hart to leave on a Free transfer?

This is a 32 year old England International goalkeeper who,I believe,we paid £4m for to Man City.Surely he has a transfer value whether he stays in this country or goes abroad.

We need to get shut of his £100k a week wages. Citeh paid £4 million to help pay his wages this season and we chipped in £2 million. We need to get rid and quick!

An even bigger mystery to me is why we signed him in the first place.

We've done that one to death before sinkov. Let's just cut the losses and run!

It's often been discussed BT, but a bit like with Wells, I've never heard a reason that made sense. I'm still scratching my head over the pair of them.

It's quite simple sinkov. The Hart and Wells fiascos were evidence enough that our Recruitment Policy needed a serious overhaul. Hence the arrival of Rigg.

Rigg the saviour, I wish I was as optimistic as you BT.
No one ever mentions the centre back we signed that simply doesn’t feature at all, all he did was push Long one step further down pecking order.
If Tarky goes at least Gibson will get a shot - I think Long could move tbh this year not getting any younger and deserves a chance somewhere I think.
I’d accept Riggs position if we move early and sign a few so chance to bed in with squad, call me cynical if you like but I’m guessing at a lot of paper talk Burnley linked with 30 goal forward, lightning winger looks to turf moor stepping stone to further career in premier league.
Reality - clarets back with 3rd offer player signing for Stoke in championship disillusioned with clarets approach.

I have this nagging doubt in my head now that we won’t sign the players we all yearn for because our system simply doesn’t suit them, a strict rigid shape that allows very little flair or chances to express yourself.

Mr Dyche would have to change his whole mantra for us to be any different.

Well thats fine then,...but keep our defence as is , then work forward to midfield, Then strikers ,.That would cost Millions,.??
I did think, that once established , we may move on with Midfield/Strikers ,...But Alas not,....,
So 4 seasons, with Garlic, we are still talking about Defending....

That's easy BT, despite the reality being that once again we won't be signing the players we need, that the squad will be under-funded and under-strength, that the football will, out of necessity, be what the purists will call dire, with this manager we will be hard working, well organised, vey difficult to beat and will survive for another PL season with something to spare. And of course this will lead to another profitable season, with plans announced for an extension to the Dry Powder Store.

There you are BT, realism and positivity all in one post. Anything else I can do for you today ?
