I got this email this morning as well but since I don't have a Mastercard I thought it was a phishing scam.

I’m told that if you complain to Zavvi they give you a 15% discount on your next purchase as an apology.

Yes they sent a code in the apology email, anyone can use it though, it's 15GOGW if anyone wants to use it, I'd use Paypal though rather than trust them with my credit card.
