If Warney has seen something in this lad,we should offer him a contract and with the proper guidance on fitness progression,he could well be a winner. We should be looking at these local lads.Remember another local lad, Vardy was playing lower non league in his early twenties and look where he finished.

    Thanks for the article Paul.

I hope this lad actually makes it into the football league, either with us or another team.

Saw him against West Brom earlier in the week he was on for about 15 minutes and I think he only touched the ball twice. But you can’t judge someone over 15 minutes and it must be a hell of a jump from non league to playing basically a premiership team. Think if anyone can develop him Warne can he’s obviously seen something and all the best to the lad

Absolutely agree with all that , I was at the west brom game and he hardly had a touch but only because west brom were on top, if warnie liked him then give him a short contract and see what happens.

Even time in the reserves should improve him

Brad Dockerty is due to play against Newcastle U23 in midweek, so if he does then it's a chance to impress.
    Good luck to him.

Is the Newcastle game behind closed doors?

Not seen any information on the O/S or anywhere else about this fixture. PW has mentioned this game twice recently.
Neil Redfearn in charge at Newcastle U23’s isn’t he ?
