I agree too many people looking for faults.

    He is a roll call:
    David Ginola
    Laurent Robert
    Hatem ben Arfa (?)
    Yohan Cabaye
    Sylvain Distin
    Olivier Bernard
    Mathieu Debuchy
    Louis Saha
    Didier Domi
    Charles N’Zogbia
    Yoan Gouffran
    Sebastien Bassong
    Alain Goma
    Remy Cabella

To name a few and there were no slouches amongst that lot - give it a rest.

Success stories for us out of that lot.

I'd say, 6 or 7 out of 14. Thats being generous.

40 to 50 percent success rate which I suppose isn't too bad considering the fees involved for most of them.

Ben Arfa was an exciting enigma and I am not sure I'd consider him a success.

    Whata I know.

Having Ginola alone was enough to make up for the rest.

Why did you omit Thauvin, Squidward and Riviere?

I did say to name a few! Well Thauvin went on to become a decent player. As to Riviere and Squidward I forgot one pants the other average. But I still think that we have broke even on french players as to say spanish players or dutch ones etc. Personally I would like to see more variety but maybe having more than one player from a nation hopefully helps them to bond into the team quicker and so on, though that is not always the case.

Cannot think of anymore I am sure I have missed a couple of others.
