PL - Table after fixtures of 24/8/19.
Please check (and, errr, let me know, like!) for errors and omissions. Remember, as both a twenty year bond holding Leeds fan and a New England Patriots season ticket holder, I'm barely human and the stresses and strains of both literally and figuratively using my cranium to enter your incredibly well-considered scores isn't always as accurate as it might be. Oh, and it hurts too.
Table is in format:- poster/previous total/weekly score/new total/status.

Our first two away wins of the PL season took most of us by surprise and, with only a handful of exact scorelines in the mix, it wasn't a week where too much happened, at least in terms of the overall standings.
That said, nine of you did collect nine points out of the twenty-four available, so well done to CherryPie7 (xxOE), Davee59 (OxEx), Denver11 (xxEO), Fredlufc74 (OxOO), Hgatenasty (xOOO), Lasher (OxOO), Leedshippriest (xOOO), Lufc74 (OxOO) and Lufcjohn88 (xxEO). It's always good to be top of the class.
All bar one of "the rest" actively scored six points. Meh!
As already suggested, there were no significant changes at the pointy-end of the table.
We have our first Striker Twoers this week, but we should be absoeffinglutely delighted to welcome Leedshippriest from the Side Before Self board. There will definitely be more swearing, although he did well enough in this, his first week back?!
There were no draws, so any Strike One, Strike Two or Strike Three posters scored nowt for their lack of effort and Johnny_Default stays on nine points for the season.
The results:-
(PL) Watford v West Ham (1-3)
(C) Huddersfield v Reading (0-2)
(L1) Sunderland v Wimbledon (3-1)
(L2) Plymouth v Walsall (3-0)
The next set of fixtures is out as a separate thread.
Good luck!![]()
