    Beckford retires

Dont give a rat's turd how he played for other clubs. Jermaine Beckford is Leeds Legend. All the best to him for the future.

I still occasionally run through a DVD with him scoring bulk goals for us. Not only was the quantity there, it was the way he finished a lot of them. Some of them were absolute class!

Scored some amazing goals..the most profitable one for me was the winner for us against scum..earned me 200 quid that fecker I drunkenly bet 2 scum fan mates £100 each that we would win 1-0 with Beckford scoring..the look on their faces when I turned up in the boozer to collect my winnings..feckin priceless

Good look in your retirement Leeds legend

Some really good memories associated with him. during our dark days in League One he was a consistent scorer. if you think back we had some really high scoring games during that period. he was a real threat any time he got a chance to score.

Scored two of our best goals in recent times. the scum goal and the goal against Bristol rovers that promoted us. that was a thriller.

good luck to him. wish he had stayed with us but he did go up to the prem and even played some. You know that bates sure wasnt's going to give him any money to stay.

He has done co-commentary with Bryn Law for 2 (maybe more) Leeds games now and he is so much better to listen to than Ben Parker.

I liked Ben Parker but his voice and fairly dim intelligence make it torture listening to him try to give tactical analysis.
