Arsenal the much better team I thought.

Feel like they should of won it over the course of the game.

I may be blinkered but I've no interest in any London club. I watch Newcastle, Man City and Liverpool.

Reasons why watching Liverpool and Man City are easy in one way; they play exciting football which reminds me of happier times at Newcastle, when we used to play.

However I have much deeper ties to those clubs. My extended Irish family have a big scouse contingent and I've always respected the club for how much they annoy Man United who I absolutely hate. Sadly my brother in law and his whole family (apart from his step dad) are Man U fans so it's nice to go home at Christmas and hear him bleat and moan about City and Liverpool when really he's just pished off Man U are on the decline.

I went to university in Manchester; spent 10 years in the city (not all at uni just 6 Under and post grad - yes I was a kind of Van Wilder by the end lol) when Man City were rubbish. All my mates bar a few (who weren't from Manchester quelle surprise!) were city fans. We would talk about football not just about our club... Something impossible to do with a Man United fan; all the see, hear, speak is their team.

Whilst I'm typing I realise how contradictory and kinda hypocritical I am being here saying I don't watch other teams whilst slating Man U fans for being Man-U-centric but it's not that I don't care about other teams particularly. I just don't have time to watch other teams.

I did enjoy installing the Man United TV HD system at Carrington and Old Trafford; I took a roll of NUFC stickers with me and plastered them everywhere

I dislike Tottenham and Arsenal, to a lesser extent Chelsea as they knocked Man U off the top so I'm grateful for that however I care if they win, lose or what ever.

    I'm rambling...

Like most football fans, Ragatino, you are fickle - and that's just the way it should be!

I always liked Liverpool as well, but things have switched around a little bit for me. Up until a year or two ago, I completely shared your hate for Man United. However, having seen them on the decline, and with them now basically being outsiders in terms of the Top 4, I've started to focus my hatred (which one must have towards some of the better-performing clubs) elsewhere.

Strangely, even though I think their team is great and Klopp is a genius, I've started to realise how spoilt some of Liverpools fans are. It has seemed to me for a long time that simply because they are Liverpool FC, they should automatically be at the very top of the league. That seems a bit arrogant to me.

    Just some thoughts.

    Agree with that Hughie.

There are some decent Liverpool fans - Red who comes on here, bloke I work with for example.

A lot though - the arrogance is something else.

Liverpool have slowly built solid foundations again and built a great footballing side that is challenging for the title
Best of luck to them I say

Well run club run by people who understand football and understand how to make a lot of money in football. Ashley couldn’t lace their boots.
There was no panic when they had a rough time with Dogleash and spunked millions on Carroll - they just got a top manager in and opened the cheque book - the rest is history and it must be a dream being a Liverpool supporter just now.

The last two posts really sum up Liverpool who, out of all of the clubs at the top are the only ones who have genuinely succeeded the right way which was the way we should have gone to be up there with them.
