Bruce's post match interview - Brighton

Was he watching a different mate?

    Too gun-ho?
    Too high up the pitch?

    Etc etc

Man is completely deluded. He got the tactics completely wrong today. The players bar Schar and Dubravka were static and clueless; didn't know what they were supposed to do, didn't know what the opposition were going to do. Everything was a reaction. It was like watching a high school football team, not even a pub side.

Why hasn't the press hammered him for having 29% possession at home against a relegation rival side?

Simple fact is he's a Chimpo manager who's lucked into a way bigger job than he's capable of.

Tactically he's shocking-as NUFC.com point out, he knew how Brighton would play but only really managed to sort the team out to handle it at half time. Well, he said they got a grip of them....I must have missed the flow of goals that followed his tactical masterclass. 29% possession at home is appalling no matter your playing style but I think the press rather like Mrs Doubtfire so they'll stick to the 'too demanding Geordies' line and hope it pans out.

Funny how our team needs to gel and get used to Bruce's way of playing.Brighton have had their manager for the same amount of time as Bruce has been here and they played us off the park.
