I had the flu virus for the first time last year and had a bit of a rough few days about ten days later but I then stayed completely healthy all winter so I’ll be taking it again.....thanks for the reminder!

I had the proper flu during the millennium New Year......never again I hope,if I got as bad now at 58 it’d probably kill me!

Risk the cold rather than get the flu.

My wife says it’s the only time each year she gets a prick these days!!

Hi Phil, it started the day after having my flu jab. I had Pneneumonia about 10 years ago and this has knocked me back as much, maybe it's my age.

Working front line in an ICU....I usually get the flu jab around now.........All the consultants and doctors get it...
Lots of false stories around this one....The WHO usually decide on which strain of flu is most likely to do the rounds and the jab is based on that...of course the actual flu that strikes may be different...in which case the jab you get is pointless.
I am not aware of the people you know Phil...but the evidence is to the contrary.......
That said...I know many nurses who run to the doctor with a head cold for antibiotics...which is very ignorant. So it takes all sorts...
And of course..many doctors will prescribe something for them....

The wife and myself have it right now Soulman, and it is one of the worst "wont shift" virus's we've had in years. I've been warning everyone not to come close. Its NASTY.

Had my flu jab yesterday and feel fine today but as I said,I felt crap a few days after having it last year.

My chemist told me yesterday that feeling a bit rough after having it is a good sign because it shows that the formula has interacted properly with your immune system.

    If it doesn’t.......you’re already dead!

Dare I ask how long it lasted? We’ve had it a week now.
