As I've said elsewhere, two steps forward, one step back and it's only the quality of the individual players that gets us the two forward steps. I'm doubtful that Ardley even checks out the opposition before we play them and just adjusts the team selection and tactics on a whim. I've nothing against Neil Ardley personally, I just don't think he's up to the job.
