Hardly, it's clearly got a lot to do with the Laszlo period and getting rid of a lot of players and building new team.

I didnt get to read the article, but is this article referring to the last set of accounts released which refer to April 18-19?

Not really bothered with financial stuff in the ST era as everyone could surely see what state we were in!

To the end of June 2019.

    Wages to turnover ratio 133%.

Wages are up £1M from last year to £4M (Shanklands wages aren't included).

    Turnover £3.1M.

    Operating loss £3.8M

Pretty much the long and short of it.

I remember hearing an interview by the owners during the summer stating that they expected operational losses to be significantly higher due to monies spent on renovations structural repairs etc, and I wld expect that the termination of so many player contacts wld factor into this also.

As we are still here with the lights on and this is historic accounts, it has probably been paid by our benefactors, doubt its been carried over. But I am just guessing. Do we need to get the yellow scarves out?

I wonder how deep their patience and pockets are?

Damned either way, some of the supporters want players and care not a jot about the costs, and others worry about the costs of the bog roll.

We have to have faith in the regime, but not blind faith.

To make things clear in no way am i questioning the new owners ,the accounts relate more to the Thompson era than anyone else. All i am asking is who is keeping the wolves from the door and by what means?.Have we mortgaged everything like we did during the ST era or has the new owner funded the losses to leave the club debt free?.

In the notes to the accounts up to June 2018 which were published on 13 March 2019 https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/c...filing-history it was mentioned that in December 2018 the new owners invested £2.5m in working capital. Doesn't look like a loan, but an investment.

Won't know for sure what the full losses are until the full accounts to June 2019 are published. If they are being published next week then this will be the earliest they have ever been published. Will rather wait and see what the facts are in black and white rather than some newspaper story.
