MillersMad Matchthread - Gillingham v The Millers

Funnily enough, last week I was happy with the way the England Rugby results fell. It was a mammoth task for the rugby team to beat the All Blacks and we're up against it at home. The whole season will fall that way unless we score first.

Today England were outplayed, out muscled and out thought BUT today we won't be..

There is the added bit of spice in the shape of Steve Evans.
The larger than life! (apart from when he tried to get into the Kappa tracksuit) character that is a Rotherham United legend. I don't use that word often but any manager that gets us back to back promotions has to be doesn't he?

I don't like him though even after all that he's done for the club. Maybe I know more than others but I wish him no fortune at all. The Gills are also a team that I dislike and I always have and will. Why the hell they can't put some shelter on the away end Is a bloody joke!

I hope that everyone that has travelled have done so safely and come home happy.

Enjoy the match guys and gals

I do like SE though. Met him several times . Funny as heck. Very approachable.
A real character. Not many left.

Personally I prefer the “sourness” of Evans to the “sweetness” of Warne

Both have done well for the club though.

Not sure what Olosunde’s done wrong but hey ho in Warne we trust.

Oddly I think we might see a result like the rugby final today.

Gillingham’s toughness being too much for us

We have to be a whole lot quicker and tougher than last week.

Morning Frog’n’all. Thanks to the UK putting their clocks back a week before the US, I’m getting an 8am kick off instead of 7am. Luxury!

I’m hoping we can keep up our away form but would be OK with a hard fought draw.

I really hope not, Edinburgh! That was pretty dire.
