    Few stats for Sunday

8th league won in a row in the same season, we have won 6 and 7 in a row many times in the top flight over the decades but not since 1950/51 in the second tier have we equalled or bettered this run when we won 9 on the bounce, our premier division champions managed 9/10 in a row but that was across two seasons (end of 82/83 start of 83/84)

Responded to the three away defeats by winning 4 away league games in a row for first time since we came down

Across world footballs top two divisions currently our record is in top 12 (top 7 for those who have played a minimum 17 games) and top 10 for current form, home record is top 3, and only one team has a bigger winning run than 8 (Benfica)

Makes good reading when you play about with the tables

I still wonder what went wrong at Alloa and QOS and how we managed to go on such an impressive run after them awful results.

Definitely, we've been a different team since Robson came back from injury.

Nicky Clark finding a bit of form has made a massive difference too. Calum butcher has also been a key man, and I think he was absent from the Alloa away squad?

Minimal changes to the team, only injury enforced ones, makes for more consistent results. There's also a huge team spirit right now, something that's been sadly lacking over the last few seasons. Compare the Derby celebrations to the abject misery of the 5-1 County defeat where there were suggestions that the team downed tools to get rid of Czaba. The feelgood factor at Tannadice right now is the highest its been in many a moon I'd say

Agree that they were out of position and it didn’t work.

Credit to Watson - his playing at centre half has been part of the successful run
