    MOTD Running Order 21/12/2019

Well the usual suspects must have been gutted that they couldn’t relegate Burnley to their traditional last spot. With a game one effort on target producing one goal and a match they highlighted as an ugly affair with six bookings four of which for Burnley we still pulled ahead of Everton v Arsenal. What on earth did they have to say about that fixture? I am at present a guest at the Royal Bolton Hospital with a promise that I am likely to be out for Christmas Day so I missed their pearls of wisdom. I am at present looking at taking my two Clarets mad granddaughters to the Posh Fa Cup game. We missed out on the hospitality packages so we are just going to make our own hospitality day out. What will Lord Snotty and his pals make of that? It is a really Family day out so I couldn’t care a fl*ing f*ck at a rolling doughnut. And we have Ashley Westwood to boot!

Hope it's not serious old pal? Get well soon. I jollied off to the south coast to watch what is becoming typical Burnley: resilient, physical, difficult to beat and seriously not interested in getting stuffed 5-0 again on the road. McNeil typified this new attitude by casually taking Fraser out when he was in danger of breaking clear.
A yellow card and taking one for the team by McNeil and Jay Rod's killer goal made this morning's momentous hangover well worth the 500 mile road trip!

Coughing up some blood BT but hope I will be out soon. Camera down the throat today. I have had it down twice before so know what to expect. I had just chosen a lovely lunch and supper and they have slapped “a nil by mouth” on me. That is a Burnley Nil I don’t like.

After they'd finished with our game Lineker said with a grin, "Bad as it was, it's not on last, read into that what you will". I watched Everton v Arsenal on BTSport, if I have seen a worse game this season, I can't remember which it was. Hope you're back home and well soon mon ami.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I am hoping against hope that I will get my discharge today or I will be having Christmas here in the hospital and not with family. I will keep you posted.

I was suprised that we didn't manage to sell all of our ticket allocation considering the low numbers available.
