Hope Villa go down again.
I think 38 points will be enough, but the league is tight this year. We will most likely go on a bad run in Jan/Feb, and we will be part of the battle.
With Norwich and Watford looking doomed , what do you think safety net of points will be ?
I reckon 35-37 as Brighton , Vile , Wet Spam are all struggling . Think Everton will pull out of it .
We need about 10 points .
Safety = no spends , Sky / Premier money disappears .. Rinse and repeat.
Minimal if any spends this window , same in Aug /sept .. Then panic spend a years time if we looking in danger.
Hope Villa go down again.

We won't be anywhere near going down. I'd say 9th finish would be around our end of season or somewhere extremely close, above or below.
As for points safety.
I'd say 36 points will be the safety battle.
That leaves us to quickly gain 11 points and then crack on.
We will definitely become part of the struggle, I have no doubts about that.
Everton twice,Leicester,Chelsea next 4 fixtures.Not easy.
No fixture is easy. Absolutely none.
You turn up on the day for the fight. You fight and rely on a small element of luck at times or rely on the other team to not perform to their max.
That's it and it's anyone's game until decisions dictate otherwise.
I've seen it enough times on this board alone with fans saying we won't do this or that and we won't get X amount of points by Christmas, or we won't beat so and so.
That's just utter doom and gloom and is absolutely pointless, in my opinion. Why even bother.
We will be in a relegation battle.
That's the only battle we get these days.
I didn´t see Watford play this last game but watched their previous 3. They have improved in leaps and bounds and won´t go down IMO. I think we are certainly in the mix for relegation and I think the escape number of points will be higher this season - maybe 40.
Bottom 3:
NUFC/Hammers
Vile
Norwich
....although I see W Ham will now be getting a new manager.........
