    Team for Maidenhead (away)

Big call dropping Dennis today but Thomas got the winner, so will Dennis get the start Wednesday, will Ardley put out the same team as boxing day, fascinating after being used to the same swops of Booty, Shields for so many games.

I reckon he'll start the same as the previous Maidenhead game just to scare the c**p out of their defenders. He has some nice selection headaches at the moment and long may they continue.

Well he reckons he picks the team to suit the opposition. So he made changes in the home game at ht to save players, made changes today, unless any injuries picked up at Solihull, he should start with the same 11 that started the Maidenhead game

I hope NA takes one of those risks he's been talking about recently and really goes for the 3pts.
Take the game to them even if it increases the chances of losing

    I'd like to see

    Slocombe
    Brindley Rawlinson Lacey Bakayogo
    Rose Doyle
    Osborne Thomas Wootton Boldewijn

Agreed, after winning the last 3, we can afford to risk it more on NYD and if the game is close really go for it.

However defensive minded Ardley may view it differently, and think 10 pts from 12 is a great return from the festive period and you can't argue with that.

As for the team , like Pete says you would think he would adopt very similar to the home game where it worked so well.

Again after getting most things right recently it's hard to predict or criticise whatever approach he adopts. He's probably viewed the games as a group and has teams in mind for each

Playing the same team within 7 days, I would think Ardley wants to keep some element of surprise so I will be surprised if exactly the same starting XI run out on Wednesday.
It was often said in the early part of the season that some teams had 'worked us out' and I think there was some truth in that. Now that a number of alternatives have been established (especially with the addition of Lacey), why not make use of it?
What also would favour us is when the teams around us play each other, they settle for a draw. That's a lost point to them and, if we keep on winning, a gained point for Notts.
