    Tranfer window

The only news so far is that we are going to sign Perreira on a permanent basis. Does that mean we are flogging Ferguson to pay for him. Otherwise,,,,it’s very quiet.

Would be very nice to get business done early....so they can get up to speed quickly...
Would be very surprised if Bilic hadn't already got his work done already on who he wants in....

Would be a first for us if we have done business this early, usually the last 2 days of any window for us . I just hope we bring in a bit of quality & like you say sooner the better .

Newcastle reportedly want 15m for Gayle, too much for a 30 year old who is injury prone and isn't premier league quality. OK last season for us but last season is a long time in football.

Can't see anything been done early in the window until they know what is happening with Ferguson and Diangana also some of the players we are being linked with are wanted by other teams which normally means it will be a bidding war that will last until the last day of the window.

    From Express & Star.
    West Brom

Reports claim that West Brom are in the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on loan for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old has impressed on loan at Charlton so far this season, scoring six goals in 24 appearances.

Rumour has it Burnley and Swansea are also keen on the starlet.

Meanwhile, Tottenham lead the race for Nathan Ferguson this month, according to reports.

Albion could be forced to cash in on the young defender, whose contract is up at the end of the season.

A five-year deal has been put on the table by Albion, but Ferguson is yet to sign, and fears are growing that he could play out the remainder of his contract.
