    Marcus Maddison from Peterborough.

Rumours we are in for him and their chairman has tweeted tonight that a Championship club has made a strong bid and that he’s on his way.

He’s out of contract at the end of the season and has a buy out clause of £2.5m.

At 26 and with a reputation for being good on the ball and having an eye for goal this could be a good buy.

I think Kets has rated him for a couple of years if I’m remembering correctly?

He has certainly been good for the Posh and I’m surprised that he hasn’t moved on sooner. I read somewhere, though, that he has a reputation for being a tw@t! If we are in for him, I hope that reputation is false. Where he would fit into the team is an interesting question, though.

As a replacement for Ferguson if we’re looking to replace tw@t for tw@t.
