And now a Ukrainian plane crashes shortly after leaving Tehran airport. The conspiracy theorists will have a field day
Seriously this has gone from nuts to crazy to off the trolly.
Trump sends a drone to kill a general
Now Iran takes out a US occupied air base in Iraq
Of course there’s the build up to it as well.
Anyone else find this crazy

Not really. This is all "par for the course" type of stuff for US presidents. There's an imminent impeachment trial and a presidential election later this year. Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush etc. etc. all did similar stuff to boost their polls or distract attention.
There'll be more sabre rattling as the year progresses for sure.
I spent some time in Iran 20 years or so. I worked on an exhibition there arranged by the British ambassador.
It was a great experience where many things went wrong with the passage there but jees am I glad of the experience!
The people there are so bloody nice, open and friendly. We were invited to parties every night. Of course we couldn't get to every one but the ones we attended were completed opposite from what you'd expect.
The hotel we stayed in was a Hilton one that had been stripped to the minimum but it was all part of the experience.
Across the road from the British Embassy was a Sushi bar with a great atmosphere.
It was one of the best experiences of my life. I haven't got time to write down the bizarre things that went off but I never felt in danger at any time even with the police following us a lot of the time.
Tehran has a wonderful theme park in the middle of it that hasn't turned for years but it was still very much in tact.
I could tell you about the poor German but that needs a pint in your hand.
The people I met don't want any disputes
.......i fly thro the gulf next week.......cheers
Ask any 'free' Iranian for their opinion about the guy who was 'rubbed out' before making any judgement on the US actions.
