Bristol Rovers without their Manager next weekend?

Football comes a poor second when it's a personal family issue. Very good of their board to grant him leave, even though he has lost 3 of his 4 games in charge.

Could be permanent if they win their next four games or maybe that’s the reason they lost them games if his mind was elsewhere.

I think this game will be harder than the Oxford one, I’ll take a draw

I'm surprised that you would be happy with a draw.

Our last 5 results are a draw followed by 4 wins on the bounce.
    They've drawn 2 and lost 3.

Having clawed our way to the top it would be disappointing to lose momentum on Saturday

It doesn’t always come down to stats though does it, style of play, physically of players can make a difference

Obviously I want us to win every game because we are capable, I’m just cautious with this one especially when one player could put the ball through net and knock a fan or two outa the same time

😂😂 True enough - and just as likely to knock a fan out in the North West corner

Bristol have a decent away record so it won't be easy although they've lost momentum since Graham Coughlan left.
They were a bit agricultural in their defending at times down at their place with some clearances going vertical rather than in a forwards direction. Similar to Neil Richardson on an off day.

We were all at sea that day though so it was an easy three points for them.
Hopefully our standards won't drop and if so we will be far too strong

We only have to go back as far as Rochdale to remember that our opponent's form can mean absolutely nothing with respect to how the game will turn out.

Of course - but we surely should be more confident going into the game on the back of 4 straight wins than they are after 5 games without a win

So the desire could be even greater for them to win one?

I don't think this one will be easy at all. They lost at home to Donny last Saturday and we lost at theirs. Okay, it was last September and we probably weren't at full strength that day. However, I still feel anyone can beat anyone in this league on their day, there are no
runaway teams in this League and those that have been in and around the top, are now showing signs of collapse ala Wycombe and Ipswich of late.

A point wouldn't be bad but, 3 would be better. On our current form and theirs, we should win but don't take it for granted we will.

Bristol Rovers have just signed a young lad on loan from Preston, a left winger that can also play right wing.
It may come down to who takes their chances.
It won't be easy, we don't do easy.
I'm fully expecting a home win.
