Purely down to the weather which we know is a bit of a leveller in sport.

How many times in a season will George Ford kick the ball on the full in a season? I’ll bet not as many times as he did tonight.

Bit of a novelty being able to watch the rugger and the racing on a Saturday Cos I’m usually at a millers match.

Nice to win in jockland especially with lots of the crowd boing when England were kicking towards the posts and I believe one of the Scots players saying everyone hates the English.

Wouldn't expect anything different at Muddyfield
England still not firing on all cylinders though, and possibly slightly fortunate

Atrocious weather totally ruined the game. Could have gone either way not in a good way though. The weather was the winner and had it been a lesser game it would have been called off. England had the luck. That is all. There was no Rugby played. It was a total lottery.
It’s one of those post World Cup transitional periods where they should pick a team for the future, which means picking players on form, not just because they have performed well in the past.
A change at the top is needed. This team as the song goes is Lost in France.

Yes the weather was bad, particularly the wind.

So why oh why did both teams take every opportunity to boot the ball up in the air ?

That's rugby unions isn't it, kicking for touch.

Why some people prefer rugby league.

But 70% of the kicks for touch weren’t reaching the point they were aiming at. Even when they did both sides struggled to keep the throw straight at the line out.

As for rugby league it’s for the fans of flat caps, pigeons and ferrets
