Thread: The Blades.

    The Blades.

I know not everyone on here could give a to55 what they do, but to ignore how well they are doing is something I can't do.

Absolutely brilliant and doing South Yorkshire proud.

Wilder is clearly a brilliant manager and one we could have had managing us in the past. Not fussed we didn't get him tbh as he was always bound for his current gig.

However hats off to him and SUFC as they are doing bl00dy amazing and good luck to them, I hope they make a European place.

Mind you 22 million they have just paid for 1 player is crazy but I suppose they are counting the millions for another season in the prem plus the parachute payments should it go t1ts up next season.

    Respect to them......

Just 12 months ago we were competing with them and holding our own on the pitch. Considering recent events the gap between us off the pitch is cavernous. They are getting plenty of praise on the football programmes here although I've notices a few slip up and call them Sheffield Wednesday .

They were even included on Jeopardy, one of the US's top quiz shows recently where they give you the answer and you have to supply the question.

Answer: A place in the North of England famous for steel making whose soccer team are nicknamed The Blades.

My answer (question) would have been: What is a small city near Rotherham

would you be posting the same rubbish if it was the lot from the sty doing so well.

Pathetic post, bet it was you who wrote the letter of apology to Darren Ferguson about our fans trying to make an atmosphere.

    Yes they are doing well.

There seems to be an overall plan that matches their ambition not just a “buy and hope” strategy

Meanwhile in S6 I suspect that the trouble they’re in is deeper than they currently admit to.

We will still chant when your dad is dead is beyond banter especially with what’s happened at our club recently

They have been mentioned on here before Riley with only a few moaning.

I’m glad they’re doing well and hope they continue to

Yes I agree wholeheartedly with that, however football in general is being sanitised both on and off the pitch by meddling people that don’t like football and have never been to a football match.

The term imbecile was once used by psychiatrists to denote a category of people with moderate to severe intellectual disability
