    He has slated Mike Ashley often enough so why not Steve bruce?

    Exactly, it doesnt stop Roy Keane. He has a go at anyone and everyone if they deserve it. Mates or not.

    Shearer's doing himself no favours by keeping schtum on his mate, he'll end up being lumped into the same sh!t as him.

    There are no friends in business, last time I checked Sports Neglect FC is not a football club as much as it is an advertising hoarding for a shameful budget retail garbage business

    As far as I know, Shearer warned him not to take the job in the first place. Maybe he's just letting his mate stew in the mess and behind closed doors has a little 'I told you so' in his ear.
