Must say I agree with you and I am baffled no one higher up than Alfreton has taken a chance on him. Maybe NA was right to let him go.

I tend to agree, definitely something about him. Am I right in thinking he struggled to remain fit at Notts and suffered injuries? Or does my memory let me down?

He's made of glass, AFC Fyle signed and released him in between Alfreton signing him. The closest he's made to playing a season was 36 games at Chesterfield when they got relegated. He'll be retired in a year or two sadly as he showed glimpses of talent but at 26 he can't stay fit for long enough to hold down a place anywhere or even work out a "best position" to be played in
