Rick Parry wants 3 promoted from Championship

    A extract from bbc sport.

Parry, who was giving evidence alongside England and Wales Cricket Board chief executive Tom Harrison and Rugby Football Union CEO Bill Sweeney, said he still expected three clubs to be promoted from the Championship to Premier League.

If that goes for all EFL leagues then would we go up?

NL board meeting today might find out something tomorrow.

I think the scale of the potential legal action if relegation from the PL is cancelled is still our best chance of getting back in the league. Potentially without playing another game.

Why would we go up its only 2 in the NL.

If you read what the Boreham Wood chairman has said if you have 3 days spare to read it all he is as negative as you can be no NL football until 2021.

I’m not sure he is negative. More so realistic. His point is more to do with fans being at games and that clubs like his rely on the income of match day revenue much much more than teams at the top. He is stating that if fans can’t go to games in his opinion clubs in the National League can’t function. In my opinion, he is right.

Notts would only benefit if the premier League scrap relegation and promote the top 2 from the championship

There's a slim chance we'd go back up to replace Bury in the pyramid if they decide nobody else in the EFL/Prem are relegated or promoted imo. I don't see why Barrow should be the one to go up if we're effectively reverting back to the end of last season's status quo

As I said a few weeks ago why are bands putting on free gigs for the NHS in October at Arenas ?

Brighton arena holds about 5k, Nottm Arena 9k and London O2 over 20k isnt it all a waste of time as if non league clubs cant play with 1-7k at games how are these going to get the go ahead ?

My point is somebody MUST have given them the nod to do this.

I dont know why the season isnt moved to Oct/Nov anyway line it up with Qatar 2022 and gives clubs more time (I know NL teams dont have under soil heating etc but its better than not starting at all or BCD)

I can't see any way that they will go ahead at the moment. I think the dates were based on a guess that things would be much further on by then.
