    Kenny Dalglish and Norman Hunter

Both tested positive today to the virus.

Iv'e just worked it out that the recorded death toll to date is one out of every 7,000 of the population in the country and in fact it will be considerably worse as government figures exclude those who died in care homes and nursing homes.

aye it doesnt look good mate, i read that Kenny doesnt have any symptoms and is in hospital for something else.

Some expert reckons 1 in 4 people simply carry the virus without ever getting symptoms. ****ing crazy

What is confusing though is that in normal times, i.e. pre virus the average death rate in this country from all causes, i.e. old age, all illnesses and accidents is about 2,000 per day.

If this figure could be compared to the government statistics then a true picture would be seen.

If the gov. stats are correct then at this moment with the virus figures the absolute total would then be about 3,000 per day, that is virus plus non virus.

Also, in South Korea, they just discovered that 91 people that had previously had the virus and were then declared healthy and free of the virus, have just been tested positive again.

The reason is probably that the virus has been re-activated somehow. This means you can potentially carry it for life. And it can go into full blown mode at any moment.

It's what makes this one so bad, you can carry and pass on without even realising you have it.

Jammy, the wifes family come from Spain, what we have here is just the tip of the iceberg.

Spain have introduced measures (off the record) to leave people to die if they are over 60 and for people who have any form of medical issue that will make them struggle (asthma, heart disease etc)

These people are just left to die alone, the respirators are kept for the younger people who have a better chance of survival.

Its awful i know but genocide is all about survival of the fittest.
If your a potential burden on the resources, your ****ed simples.
Wont be long before same measures are introduced here.
My Mrs has been living in a premier Inn for the last 15 days and tells me horror stories of what she has seen on our doorsteps. Its not a good time mate, will be like this for over a year

People like your wife Tanya are heroes in all this in my book but I bet they don't see themselves in that way. Left exposed but still doing the job. Then we have to listen to the govt blaming them for using ppe equipment wrong, same equipment many are saying they don't have in the 1st place. Listen to the govt telling us that Boris is okay. If he is recovering fair enough but why ram this down our throats after the highest daily deal toll so far. Its like they are trying to cover something up, in my eyes the toll is a lot higher but as long as Boris is okay.
Back to the thread, hope they both recover and I had no idea that Norman Hunter is from Gatesheed.

Geordie mate, i will show her what you have said, but she will no doubt brush it off as " my Newcastle thing"
the lass is living in a bubble and is in the zone and in all honesty makes me feel worthless.

Which i am of course, i live in a life where im untouchable ,i have a fantastic job, have a top global responsability, but yet recently my job now is basically a babysitter and hoping the kids dont shout obscenities when im skyping America.

My firsy job is being a dad. Im completely crap at that, i treat and talk to my kids in the same way as i do my friends, which is all good until you get embarrassed by it. Trust me, life is easier when mam and dad are there. I cant thank the NHS enough for what they do, we really are all in this together and a lot of our loved ones will die from this
