    As serious says, wonderful days.

    I've never seen this before and didn't realise that Jack Dunnett talked about getting to the 2nd Division in three years, which is exactly what they did with two promotions in three years.

    Fascinating - both the football bit, and the member of Parliament angle. It was strange to see the players training on the Meadow Lane pitch - no hunt for a training ground in those days!

    It just goes to show, with all the dross that's on this forum, how easy it is to miss something of interest.

    I remember falling about laughing when I saw it back in 1971. In other words " sod off Jack we're busy"
