    Family Trees

I recently signed up on Ancestry UK, which is brilliant.

I was hoping that my family sprung from royalty, but it looks like I will be disappointed.

My family have roots in Rossendale for many generations with a good few Irish bods thrown in.

My wifes family are much more interesting, and we have traced the family back to the 1400's.

Has any one else had a do at this? It's fascinating.

I know that my wife has a murderer in her family from the late 19th century ---I sleep with one eye open!

    My dad's side are Italian.

    My ma's side are Irish.

    Both lines go way back.

    No fu-cking wonder I'm bonkers.

I'm sure if I did a family tree I would find a Royal relative down the line.

    Hi Mr Matelot!

I tried the 14 days free trial and then decided to subsrcibe for about £30 per year. I think it's well worth it.
