    Losing my sense of taste!

An open door for you lot to push at no doubt 😏

Seriously though........it started yesterday and it’s worse today,my sense of taste is disappearing and I feel a bit washed out today.

    I just wonder.....👀😳😫

In a biology class, the prof was discussing the high glucose levels found in semen. A young female raised her hand and asked "If I understand, you're saying there is a lot of glucose, as in sugar in male semen?"
    "That's correct", responded the prof.
Raising her hand again, the girl asked, "Then why doesn't it taste sweet?"
After a stunned silence, the whole class burst out laughing, the poor girl's face turned bright red, and as she realised exactly what she had inadvertently said
Prof answered her question, "It doesn't taste sweet because the taste-buds for sweetness are on the tip of your tongue and not the back of your throat."

Not having met you Mick I have no image in my mind, but now it’s building!
Yesterday you bought a Villa shirt but today you went and added a Wolves shirt?

No Minn but it seems the appropriate time for the release of a guilty secret that our old friend Lincoln Baggie Keith took to the grave with him.

I was playing in my final ever game of 11 a side on Xmas eve morning in a game a mate was part of every year and most years I got an invite.

It was to be the last ever of these matches and we all knew it and Keith was coming along to watch but at the last minute that fell through but I later gave him the full match report and he kept the secret.

I picked up the ball on the half way line and advanced into the opposition half ( think Steven Gerrard in his pomp ) and as everyone backed off I decided to hit it from about 30-35 yards and it flew into the roof of the net!

Sadly this last ever goal at the age of 48 was scored in a Wolves strip ( Doritos ) as this was the strip designated to our team😫

The longest range goal I ever scored in a Dingle strip 🤭

The year before I’d scored probably the best goal of my life with a 25 yard bender over the keeper into the far top angle ( Sneekes v Leicester away ) and that was scored in a Villa kit!

My mate who helped arrange these matches was high up at Puma and he supplied the kit so in essence he did this on purpose😆😆

It always makes me smile when I read stories like this, although at the same time a little piece of me dies inside😁😔.

I remember years ago there was an indoor football league in Cradley known locally as Ballpark, also another called Sixes in Ham Lane Kingswinford. There was always a few teams that played in Albion, Villa or Wolves ‘leisure’ shirts. The poor fkcers who obviously hated the team whose colours they had been forced to wear often blanked out the offending club badge with some electrical or parcel tape as their little protest!

When my son was just a lad, he played for a boys team here in Northamptonshire, he used to go to training in his Albion kit, either the stripes or the away kit which, at the time, was that pale yellow shirt with light blue sleeves. The bloke that ran the club had connections with Watford, so they had Watford kit for a while but sadly, when new kit was needed, the next batch was claret and blue! The boy was not happy! Amusingly, because he used to wear Albion kit for training, he was nicknamed ‘Baggio’!
